Worthy: A Father's Day Poem

Dad, you have unfailingly been there for me,

preparing for college or climbing a tree,

Adventures aplenty you've offered to us,

your limitless courage providing a plus,

Your sympathy simply knows no bounds,

when illness threatens,'til all feel sound,

Thank you for using your loving hand,

for discipline and taking a stand,

I've used your wisdom throughout my life,

to prosper quite well and limit strife,

I only hope that I can now be

a parent just as worthy as thee.
